I am a permanent resident in Canada. I got an offer in US. I plans to live in Canada and cross border everyday to work in US. Does anyone know what kind of Visa I can apply? Thanks for any information.

You can apply for TN visa only if you are a Canadian citizen. TN visa is not for Permanent Resident.

It'll be very difficult for a Canadian permanent resident to work in US on H1 visa, almost impossible with the new US national security measures.

Wait for your Canadian citizenship ba.

My employer told me that CIS has approved the H-1B petition. Does that mean I can get H1-B visa for sure or it's still hard to say?

Finally, I got H1-B Visa

I got H1-B visa today.

To Guo Dingjun:

In my case, the company gave me the offer --> My education evaluation --> the company apply H1-B petition for me --> H1-B petition approved --> I applied H1-B visa stamp here with all the documentation sent to me.
