i got mine in CT for 13.99 each for low beam,
it's really white, but not too blue (don't want to hurt other ppl's eyes)
u can get better ones online which r much more expensive... but the better is it the shorter life it has

Blue highlights are really illegal, cops could pull you over for that, but the BMW OEM bluelights are fine.

nope
mine r 100% street legal sold in Canadian Tire
AND it doesn't really appear to be THAT blue
just bright white, maybe a tiny little bit blue

I think the Xenon bulbs have longer life time than regular bulbs, I got mine on ebay, pretty good.
also, the color tone should be less than 5000K, which is pure white with bit blue tone. Mine are 4350K.
