为什么会吃parking ticket

还是很CONFUSING....以后看到这种还是躲远点,去PUBLIC PARKING算了....

谁知道没任何标志的地方是任何时间都能parking还是永远不行？缺省值是什么

"No Stopping" means you can't stop and can't park there.
"No Parking" means you can't park but you can stop there briefly as long as the driver is in the car.

Forget about going to the court, the only time you win is the ticket officer won't show up, these days, those bastards always get to the court early.

First apply to settle on the court then you will wait about 6+ months before the notice to appear. When you receive the notice, apply to reschedule the date, then you will wait for another 6+ months. Finally, when you appear on the court, the officer is unlikely to appear.

You may not be able to renew the sticker for unpaid parking tickets.

There is also another kind of sign reads "no stand", that means you can make a brief stop, but you can not leave your car. Be aware that you can not stay long.

As for "no parking", it means as long as you are in your car, it should be OK.

还是没看懂,他在9:00PM后停的车,应该是在标志时间之外,
按理不应该罚钱.

请指教!

The "No Stand" signs are only found in GTA, not here in Ottawa.
I first saw that sigh while I was strolling on the street of GTA, I just kept on walking without "standing" even a second for afraid of getting a ticket, silly me.
