And after taking the oath, I would like to apply canadian passport. Do you know where I can find a persone in Ottawa as my guarantor for the passport application if I don't have a private doctor(/lawyer/professor/accountor/etc.), even if I am willing to pay?

你找公证员和律师不需要认识2年以上，他们也不是免费的，如果找家庭医生是免费的。你看看护照里面的说明，写的很清楚。

另外你是什么时候申请？ one year ago，到底是一年前的几月申请？

请问有谁 8月中 参加入籍考试,现在收到宣誓的通知信? 万分感谢.

刚上网查了一下,发现状态"In Process"没有进一步的消息

We took test on Aug 11. and will join oath on Sep 22.

it takes about one hour for the whole course. first show your notice, identification ID, landing paper and PR card(PR card will be surrended to them), and you will sign a paper to indicate you are willing to be citizen. then enter into room, wait for others. Then Judge gives a emotinoal speech, speak oath, then hand out you certificate, sing, that is it.if you want to take picture with Judge, then you will stay for longer, otherwise, go home.

如果是同一天考试，上午和下午都会有不同的，不过只会前后差一两天。你应该也快了，如果有什么疑问，可以打电话问的，直接问他你的唱歌通知是不是寄丢了？什么时候唱歌？如果他们已经寄出来了，而你没有收到，到那天可以直接去就行了。

另外，你知道申请护照的时候，哪有政府免费的公证人帮助签字的？像申请枫叶卡时那样的。

要低收入的才行，而且存款不能超过5000，我们应该都不够格，还有一点，申请枫叶卡找他们签字的理由是没有认识专业人士2年，可你要入籍了，连家庭医生都没有，老外会觉得很意外的。不过真没有，黄页上找个公证人，也就25-30块。如果你要免费的，我还得去打听打听。

I don't know why the passport application require two reference? If it is ok I find a couple as the reference? What is the details the passport office will check to my reference? Thanks.
