[问题] 交通小事故！！

今天在SHOPPING MALL 里撞到了一辆停着的VAN，交换了证件后，给POICE 打电话，结果POICE 让我们自己处理，我建议去BODY SHOP， 他说没时间，要500快，说是撞，其实是蹭到，而且我蹭到那面门，还有老的划痕，很明显，因为那些划痕很高，我的车够不到的，所以没同意给500快。
问问有经验的朋友该怎么处理？

$500 is too much. It costs only around $1200 to paint the whole car. If you didn't not cause any body damage except for the paint, it might cost $100 to $200 to repair it.
So just offer $250. If the owner does not accept, then go to the insurance company.
