本人最近想搬家，所以把床给卖了，上周就有个中国人来看了，很满意，我看她是中国人又没带很多钱就只收了她十块钱定金，结果她今天说她不要了，你们说我碰到这种事该怎么办？真烦！

Since you have accept her 定金, you just need to take 定金. What 定金
does is to cover this kind of risk.

It is just a transaction. Don't blame "chinese". One can't represent the whole. From what I met here in Ottawa, I have more trust on Chinese.

诚信并不等于订金，两者绝对不能相提并论。诚信更加不能和订金本身的多少成正比。一个人要是有诚信的话，答应过人家的事情，就得一箬千金，驷马难追。那又岂只千金能买的呢？请别在这混淆概念。至于中国人不中国人，那是另外一个问题。我们可以再作探讨。客观现实的确是中国人干这种事情的概率比较大一些。这个基本事实是应该承认的。指出自己民族的缺点，不见得就是瞧不起自己的同胞。乱扣帽子是一种无知野蛮的行为。算不上什么好汉，更加不会有人把你当民族英雄。我是才梳学浅，把心里话说出来，只是想跟各位高人领教指点。得罪的地方请各位原谅。那位另有高见的，烂土豆愿闻其详。

我认为信誉和交不交定金没关系,失信了,至少要道个歉吧.

If buyer changes mind, seller get the deposit. If seller changes the mind, seller returns the deposit PLUS the same amount money to the buyer.

It is PURE a business!

Since you have accept her 定金, you just need to take 定金. What 定金

Legally speaking, "deposit" does cover the rish that the buyers withdraw their offer; in this case, the seller get conpensated by getting the deposit and buyer get loss from his not carrying out his offer; this is a fair deal;
But morally speaking, the buyer should at least say a sorry to the seller...that's all.
In any country, such trouble could happen thus it doesn't concern natioanlities.
well, for you, it's reasonable to complain...understandable...
