Damn! My bikes are stolen this Tuesday night!

I locked my two 2+ years old bikes outside the apartment everynight, but when my wife and I wanted to ride for excieses Wednesday evening, we found they are gone, two lockes are broken and thrown aside, Damn!!

Do you guys meet these kind of thing in Canada?

I think I should report to police, of course, I do not expect them doing any kind of investigation for this shit thing or do not expect them can find them for me , but at least I want to report there is some knid of criminal around that building for record. Do you think it is okay?

What's the number I should call?

Yes, you should report. If you had your serial numbers of the bikes, you might have a 1/1000000000000000 chance to get them back.
As you said, just want to keep a record on the file, even though it doesn't mean too much either.
