如果父母已经申请了移民,但还没有批下来.此时如果希望父母来探亲(比如妻子生孩子..)请问可能拿到探亲签证吗

Please note: The following message is from Canadian visa office in Beijing. I have the same concern with 楼主. So I wrote an email and got response as follow.


You may apply for a Temporary Resident Visa even if you have an
immigration application in process. Like every applicant for a
Temporary Resident Visa, you would have to satisfy the visa officer that
you would leave Canada at the end of your proposed visit. Applications
are approved or refused, depending on whether the officer is satisfied.

不瞒您说， 我在移民公司你做过， 这个是我亲手经手的案子，不过我也说了，你要提出合理的理由来说服签证官才可。
比如，在父母等待移民期间，有小孩出生，而父母是唯一可以依靠的来照料母子的亲人，我的那个案子就是这样。
