一张超速罚单

苦啊,一张超速罚单
长周末租了辆HERTZ的车去QUEBEC CITY,在MONTREAL附近40号公路(Rigaud,安省和魁省的交界处)超速一点点,被抓.几辆QUEBEC警车都藏在桥后面,狡猾得很.

罚单全是法文,一个字都看不懂.只知道地址是:

District judiciaire: Beauharnois
Poursuivant: Procureur general du Quebec
1200, route de IEglise, 6e etage,
Sainte-Foy (Quebec) G1V 4X1

罚单上说我 132km/h, 扣3点.罚183刀.

怎么办?如果我要上法庭dispute,是不是必须去魁省的法庭?(Montreal还是Quebec city?)我能不能在OTTAWA的法庭dispute?还是只能乖乖地扣点罚钱?明年的保险要涨多少?

第一次开长途,一辈子第一次超速,就......

I suggest you pay.
If the ticket says that your speed was 132, your actual speed could be 140. Normally they reduce your speed by 5% to reflect possible inaccuracy by radar.
Also because you were driving a rental car, you should contact the rental company, because they will receive a ticket too. You will probably need to pay to the rental company, and then they will pay the police.

If you want to appeal it, you must go to the 法庭 in Sainte-Foy (Unfortunately, which is in Quebec city!) as the ticket indicates. Do it if you think your one day trip to Quebec costs less than (3 points + ins.premium.hike + $183/2), and don't forget to tell the court your contact address if you do so.
Take it easy! Everything will be fine.

Also because you were driving a rental car, you should contact the rental company, because they will receive a ticket too. You will probably need to pay to the rental company, and then they will pay the police.

There is nothing to do with the rental company if you pay your fine within the time frame indicated on the ticket. The only time the rental company will be involved is that you don't pay the fine. 要是你被魁北克的警察捉住，最好交了罚款。如果上法庭，必输无疑。还没听说哪位住在安大略的人上魁北克法庭赢了的，只听说输了的。另外，在高速公路上过桥洞，不管在哪里，都减速到110公里。

I too was caught speeding at the same spot 10 years ago when I was on the way to Montreal, I was doing 129km/hr. I paid the fine to avoid the hassle. Rumour has it the Quebec police especially target on Ontario vehicles because of the language barrier keep most of the drivers from arguing.

安省和魁省的交界处有很多大牌子，上书110km/h罚多少，120km/h罚多少，你是不是没看到???这么大的ticket还是付了吧，全当交钱上驾驶课了。
