【急】有谁知道从加拿大寄钱回国手续费要多少？那种方式便宜？

CIBC说如果寄出1万加币的话，要200加币的手续费。有没有其他更加便宜的方式啊？

You are kidding, even the fastest way (of course the most expensive way) is sending money by wire transfer, it is around $50.

楼上的说得不错。我今天刚好准备寄一笔钱。我在Royal Bank的柜台得到的
回答是，30美金的手续费，Wire Transfer一周内应该可以到。

你可以问问你的开户行。

Yes, the Bank of China will send the Money Order or Draft back to Canada for verification purpose - it takes them 3 month!!!

As for the service charge, there is a flat fee of either RMB20 or RMB30 regardless of the cheque amount

That is Bank of China's holding policy...

Regrading to the wire transfer, as long as the money has been deposited to the receiver's bank account, it is available right away (usually take 48 hours due to the time difference). No hold on wire transfer.

I think this is only good with a bank within Canada, not overseas... You can check it out... All the major banks charge similar fee for wire transfer, ranging from $45 to $55.

No, it works well for foreign banks as well. I have been wired several times to China and to the States. Also, I got confirmed from a banker at Scotiabank today.

As I was told, you'd better to have an account there. (Although it may not necessary sometimes, many banks are sensitive to significant transactions)
