这还真不好说了，因为我自己内心的定义有很多层面的：从基因角度，从文化角度，从国籍角度，从出生地的角度。

举个简单的例子，某人父母是河北人，他出生在山东，后来移居辽宁，多年后，有人问他，你是哪里人？

你是哪里人 means where you are from, so it is normal that you are not sure where you are from.

I don't think your question is valid. It is not we think we are Chinese or not. We are just Chinese. If we get Canadian citizenship, we are still Chinese Canadian.
