请问各位妈妈或者准妈，血糖测试是一定要做的吗？

我现在24周，每次去OB那里验尿都很正常。经常看网上说的做血糖测试，有1小时的，3小时的，那是一定要做的吗？是不是每次验尿正常就不用去做了呢？上次去见OB的时候忘了问了，下次去见他就是3个星期以后了。想早点知道，谢谢！

妊娠期的糖尿病检测是一定要做的。对你自身，你的宝宝都有好处。
有的糖尿病人只有做血液的生化测验才能检出而从尿里看不出有糖尿病的。

An A1C (HbA1c) test gives you a picture of your average blood glucose control for the past 2 to 3 months. The results give you a good idea of how well your average suger level instead just a one time blood glucose level (most of time, doctor will ask you to do fasting plasma glucose test), but result only show you that day ur body how to produce and process insulin to counteract the rise in glucose levels, but not avarage and even after ur eating.

Normal Doctor won't give u a A1C test if u don't ask him when u have annual check up, because cost more.

对的， 这叫fasting plasma glucose test, 让你喝完过一会抽一次血， 反复几次
这样就可以检验出你的胰岛素分泌情况和血糖的情况。

you have to do this next time when u visit ur doctor, then u will have couple times same test and ultrasound too

The GTT(Glucose Tolerence Test) will be done at the 24-28 weeks. Your OB should be able to oder one for you right now. I did it at 28th week for 1 hour GTT and was diagnosed as Gestational Diabetes right away, without a futher 3 hrs GTT.I am now on my 35th wks and monitoring my blood sugar every day since then, diet control of course.

The Asian woman tends to have GDM, so you'd better watch carefully on your diet. A GDM woman's new born might have hypoglycemia( low blood sugar) and prolonged jaundice(yellow skin and eyes), so you've got to be very cautios about your blood sugar !

because your first test is good and u are pretty healthy ya

But My suggestion >>> you should watch carefully, if possible do couple times during ur pregnancy

After 6 months, you will be busy, kid will start to build up her own immune system.
