the point is, same sex is their own business, it's their sex orientation.
however, when it comes to marrige, it's never their own busi. it offence the foundation of human world: Marrige, a union between a man and a woman.

I thought all men are equal before God. If Adam and Eve are good enough to get married, then so are Adam and Peter, for, all men are equal before God. When you deny gay people the right to form a marriage, you are treating them as if they are lessor than straight people.

You quoted the old definition of marriage to justify your prejudiced view against homosexual. That definition, a union between a man and a woman, is obsolete. The new definition, after this legislation is passed, will include all people. After we have the new definition, you can quote it again.

After gay marriage are legalized, you can still choose to marry the opposite sex. So, don't be scared. Your life will be as usual, but gay people will be able to enjoy equality. To them, this means they can proud as you are. It means they can walk with their back straight, and their heads up. Why shouldn't they? They are human beings. Just because they are different, and just because they are a minority, we should not think of them as any lessor of humans than you and I.

Keep your mind open, accept the different, and protect the minorities, my fellow human being.

I have a lot of sympathy towards gay people. They are also human, though different, but undoubtedly human, but often treated as less. There have always been gay people. There have been gay people for as long as human has existed. They have suffered for long enough. Due to the heavy pressure imposed on them by the narrow minded and single minded people, they have been forced to marry the opposite sex, forced to be what they are not, forced to believe that they are shame to mankind.

Societies have started to face the reality and started accepting them as who they are. Gay people have started to feel normal about themselves. This is a long and hard process. People don't like to change. They feel what they are familiar and comfortable with are threatened. It's fear. It takes time to change how people think. It takes time for people to accept a new concept. It takes time for people to accept the different. The fact is, whether you like it or not, there are gay people. The fact is that they are not attracted to the opposite sex. Nobody has the right to say that's wrong. If it exists, then it's not wrong, just like there are birds and you don't question the legality of birds.

Nobody has the right to say that they are not fit to marry who they love. For the sake of humanity, give them a break. Give them equal right. Let them enjoy what is so readily available to straight people. Let them have their legal marriages with the people they love. Let them live their lives free of prejudice against them.

For the sake of humanity, let them.

All the gay men I knew are nice and decent. I respect their choices and support their family rights.

But my policy is this: there is no gay under my roof. I don't want my kids to be confused.

Concept of marriage is similar in different cultural, because marriage is a way that civilians organize their society for good reasons.

Stealing the words "Marriage" doesn't make any sense. Call it something else please.

Why bother to steal the words "Marriage" if homos are so proud of their lifestyle? Their family right can be legalized and protected under "Civic Union", which is clear. What happened is just a dirty political game.

No matter what the law says, we all know it's different. Nobody can deny the fact.

Ironically, the word "guy marriage", which is used by everybody today, clearly indicates it's different.

BTW, let them get married. I will tell you I have a "traditional marriage", my wife is a woman. OK?

Things change and I do not see anything wrong with changing the definition of 'marriage'. Just remind you that a man can marry more than one woman in the past, thats also called 'marriage', so what? Has that been changed?

BTW, I would not use the word 'homos' in a public BBS, thats insulting to some people.
