if you are移民,be honest,i tell you my story,
i got those paper(ccna,mcp or MPE .....whatever)couple years ago before i came to CA,i have to say those local IT company didnt realy care those paper anymore,they just care what your local expier and what language you speak(no franch language speak,no way to got better job,i mean,in IT field)
then,we have bad loop like "no job- no local experien- no job again-....
that true,my friend.

why dont you get any franch language training if possible if you want looking for better job some days?

Some information.
1. A company named global knowlegde have this kind of trainning. you can check there web site.
2. CCNA is the lowest level, you don't need to pay $4k to sit in a classroom to pass it. Read the cisco books for CCNA, with the simulator software on the CDROM, you can pass the test. The "CCNA boot camp" is waste of money.
3. Just get CCNA is not really helping. CCNP and CCIE certificates are valueble but quite expensive and hard to get. CCNP has 4-5 test you have to pass, both theorial and pratical test. For each course, you are looking at 5 day course in classroom with equipment, which cost you about $4k. So, you need to pay about $12k to get it. CCIE is too hard to get if you don't have related working experiences on Cisco equipment (for now, there are less than 400 CCIE's in Canada). Also, any tests for CCNP and CCIE need lots of hands on experience. Just read the book is not good enough. That's why lots of routing or switching vendors' appricate those cisco certificates.

I'd love to take some French courses but... my current job is related to writing IP routing protocols. And i do not have much experience on how they work in the real large scale networks. I think CCIP and CCIE courses may be helpful for me. This is the reason i ask this question. Sadly our company does not provide such training to the employees

I think the simulator is just a CLI sim simply for some one can't affort real routers. A real router simulator may cost even more than the router itself.
If you really like to learn how routing protocols working in large scale networks, some good books like Doyle's Routing TCP/IP and Habibi's Internet Routing Architectures are good point to start. Quite frankly, CCIE covers more than IP routing. Test-focusing bootcamp may not really what you need.

The simulator is just for CLI, the function is very limited. But good enough for the CCNA test preparation.
I think you mean lots of guys with "CCNA" certificates can not find a job. As I've mentioned, there are only less than 400 CCIE's in Canada. CCIE is not a just a certificate. It's almost impossible for you to know "lots of CCIE". With 10+ years hands-on experience, and working hard on the courses, there is no garantee you can get the certificate. And it cost about $20-30k to get through the courses and the test.
To a person withour hands-on experience on networking, get a CCNA won't help for job hunting. CCNP and CCIE is too hard to get by yourself, because of the cost and the equipment requirement. But since CCNA is easy and cheap, it's good for people who want to build a fundation on networking. Things like what's a hub, a switch and router, ...
It's almost impossible "4 of 5 group members are CCIE". It's also quite hard to get CCIE in china too. The last practical test in CCIE is a one day Lab testing, cost about 8k. Only tow labs in US have that equipment and people who are qualified to execute the exam program. You have to fly to the lab by your own. In the lab, you are facing a in-scaled network with tons of routing and traffic problems, and you need a day to trouble-shooting and solve all problems.
CCNA only gives you basic knowledge of networking technology.

CCIE shows you have ability of designing, impelementing and maintening a big routing netowrk. People with CCIE have good income. But it's pretty hard to get there, and there is no shortcut.

I remember there were just a little more than 100 CCIE's in Canada in year 2000. Now with the number reachs more than 400 (434 to be precise), I am surprised seeing 4 CCIE's at one spot.
Let's just put it this way, how many CCIE's can Bell Canada consume, how many Bell Canada in Canada. It probably will give you an idea what is the value of a CCIE today.
