I diagree. Would you treat your children the same way? Would you give away your children like that? If the answer is no to both questions, then obviously he did something wrong.
We are all pets lovers, and we love our pets like our own children, and that's the way it should be. If you can't do that, then just don't get a pet.
This is what happened to me when I decided to get a cat...
I used to live right across from Carleton. The location was very good and very convenient for me to go to work or school. However, the house didn't allow pets so I had to move out. Unfortunately, my cat, Stewie, was available to me two months earlier than expected (arrived at the end of June) and my new apartment wouldn't be available till September 1st. I asked the landlord if she would allow him to stay for just two months. The answer was no. So I moved out with Stewie and slept in the living room of my friend's apartment for two months.
What I want to say is, there is always a way if you're determined to find one.
