Be frankly, same problem also bothered me a few times. My advice is -
1. calm down - don't go mad first
2. "Excuse me/pardon", ask the person to repeat it again.
3. If the person says "sorry", that is all.
4. If the person doesn't say "sorry", tell him your reasons to prove he is wrong; or just say: shut up, I am Chinese. Please say such stupid words where no body hates you.

Respect is won by fighting, but be careful about your reaction manner.

So you are mad about the number of 30 million, or make that 300 million huh? What if the number is 10 million? Or 1 million? Would that make the murderers less guilty? Even if there is one person dead as a result of wrongful policy, for that one person and his/her family, that was what mattered; to that person, it was the universe.

What you are saying is as if a smaller number would simply make the crime somehow less of a crime!

上面两件事让我想起了60-62年死人事件，不错，我承认，那三年因为政策和天灾，确实死了很多人，但是到了某些人的嘴里，变成了3千多万。对于这个，我只能说一句，去他妈的。你们骗鬼呢，60-62年离现在不远，你回去问问你家的长辈，是不是死了那么多人？更有甚者，一些人居然口口声声说中国在过去的50年间，不正常死亡人数上亿。

对不起，今天有点激动，干了我不愿意干的事---骂人了，但是没有脏字。

说真的,我真不知道什么反应才好. 他们看上去不像坏人。可能人家说的是实情.但应该知道我不会好受,还说,挺残忍的.他们什么目的？我真不知道。

告诉他们你自己你的朋友还有你所认识的其他中国人都是合法来加的，你们说的可能是真实的但你从未亲眼见过；

告诉他们不管哪里人都有几个烂柿子，不能因为这几个烂柿子就推断一个国家的人都不好；

告诉他们中国已经不是以前的中国了，SHOW SHOW 那一期的“THE GLOBE AND MAIL”,等等等等。。。


说实话作为中国人我感到前所未有的骄傲。。。
