Hello everyone,
This email is to invite individuals and representatives of student
organizations (SFUO, GSAED, SAFA, International House, etc) as well as
student media (Fulcrum, La Rotonde, CHUO) to a meeting taking place at
OPIRG - Ottawa (631 King Edward Ave. 3rd floor, on top of the Fulcrum
office) on Thursday January 13th at 7:30pm. The meeting is called to
discuss
the February 3rd day of action programmed as part of a Canadian
Federation
of Students (CFS) campaign to reduce tuition, bring back grants and to
demand more funding for education. I can't stress enough how important
this
issue is to students and how necessary it is to have representatives
from
the main student organizations at this meeting.
While the meeting will likely focus on University of Ottawa
mobilization,
other students are encouraged to attend and participate.
