every cat has his prefered texture. maybe the one u bought is not his type. try different ones lar. de-clawing is really bad for a cat

I agree with you, a declawed cat could end up biting a lot more to compensate for the loss of claws. However I have seen in real life happily declawed cat, and I think it's better for the cat to be declawed than to be abandoned.
