One more thing, when you are checking out after purchasing the on-sale-Chinese product, make sure you are paying the discounted price, because some of them still have the old price tag on, for example, this mornning I checked out with some 香梨, the cashier thought it was Asian pear and charged me $2.99/lb on it, when I reminded her, she did not even know what the 香梨 is, she had to ask the other cashier for the code.
My experience, on weekends when you deal with bank staff, cashiers, restaurant workers, be prepared to be patient and cautious, 'cause most if not all of 'em are part-time workers, no offence intented.
