但感觉好象没这么低,反而觉得洋人都蛮富有的。
是不是统计有问题啊。

This is not household income, but personal income. If memory serves me correctly, average Canadian household income is in the upper 60Ks.

Year 2002 $, okay, with 3% inflation each year, all the amount should be multiply by 1.0609... which leads the avg family income of $77K somthing... okay, closer to what I heard.

楼主对加拿大理解不够啊。
这是资本主义社会，收入主要靠投资而不是工资。
靠工资永远都发不了。

本地人特别是富人的主要收入是投资收益。
加拿大资产收益只一半需要缴税，更是厉害。
