打个比方吧：
假设你年收入10万的基础上挣了100但是又花了20作为成本。
1。若20元是为了工作挣100工资，则你有100+20=120需要记入缴税收入。
2。若20元是为了自己工作挣100工资（Contractor或自雇，自己给自己发薪），则你有100-20=80需要记入缴税收入。
3。若你20是花给了股票经纪机构，从股票中赚了100，则只有 （100-20）/2=40需要记入缴税收入。
看出区别了吧！
资本主义的好处就体现在这里，最大限度为富人谋福利，而照顾部分穷人，让工薪阶级成为社会的（缴税的）中坚力量。
在加国，Salary是最受打击的，Interest也不怎么受保护，Capital Gain只有Capital Gain才是真理所在。
因此，Capital Gain在家庭收入中的比例才是真正衡量财富的最重要标志。
