为什么APPLE的IPOD卖得这样火?

APPLE本来在计算机行业混不下去了去搞了一个IPOD,一举扭转局面.我理解的IPOD就是存放很多MP3歌曲的小硬盘, 现在小的256-512M的MP3 PLAYER一大把抓. 实在没搞懂为什么那么多人,去买贵得多的IPOD?

有没有用过IPOD的朋友给咱指点迷径.

I ckeck this with a colleague who has a iPOD, here are what I got:

1. It has a hard drive, which could be from 4G to 40G (the third generation called iPOD photo, which has color display and display pictures). I guess next genertion should be iPOD video which can replay video clip. As compariosn, 1G flash card is just available not long time ago.

2. The rotor design is good to search for songs (unlike other MP3 device with buttons to go up and down to find songs). It's fast and innovative. You can search songs by name, by authors and so on. Namely, iPOD can organize your songs in different ways.

3. Apple has iTune website where you can download songs, I read it somewhere that it contains lots of songs (in millions or more?).
You can download it for 99 cents per song.

4. I read some articles about iPOD and its accessories. One product is interesting, you can add a transmitter through USB of iPOD and transmit the song to your FM radio in cars. You can also connect your digital camera to iPOD and transfer pictures from camera to iPOD, make it a storage device on your way of travel.

5. I feel that the next step for iPOD is to build a wirless tranceiver in it which make it download through wirleless instead of using cable.

I feel Apple is always leading in the design and innovation. I like this company and its product, even though I don't own a iPOD and is not a fan of music.

Forgot one thing, only iPOD can download songs from iTune, it can also play songs in other formats. But not the other way around, namely, the songs from iTune has specific format, which make it not playable on other MP3 devices.

Bought a 20G for my son as his Christmas gift. I played it for a few minutes. Didn't find it that great, other than neat looking and ease of use with rotor. The rotor is nothing more than a disguised touch panel just like one that on every laptop. Like I said, it is about fashion. I bought him one so he can brag about it among his friends, online/offline And of course, get rid of the old 8MB MP3 player he has been toying around for so long. If I like one, I would just go buy one made by Dell.

you are missing the point.

you can choose a mp3 player with FM but it doesn't mean any mp3 player has to be built with a FM even though the additional cost may not be significant.It is more than the cost for the FM itself. For example, if the 1$ part of FM is broken, the manufacturor have to replace the whole player (as long as it is within the warranty period).

In addition, a 1$ FM is different from a $10 FM. You pay what you get. It is always true in the fair market.

if it is so cheap to make how come my MP3 player doesn't come with it. I really hate this.

苹果电脑搞不下去？
只是你没亲眼见过一片一片的mac电脑，广告设计业，电影后期，宣传谁用的不是苹果
你看的那些好莱坞大片都没有是PC做的
专业性比较强罢了，再说老外用苹果家用机的也不少

以前却是宣布过破产，但现在已经在设计制作产业占绝对的主导地位

IPOD不说她的技术指标，光是设计都有多少个公司效仿。

你看的那些好莱坞大片都没有是PC做的

你可以说出除了pixar的产品以外有几部好莱坞大片是用苹果机做的吗？

感觉ＩＰＯＤ的技术含量不高，应该有很多中国厂家能够生产出物美价廉的类似的东西．

apple在计算机行业混不下去了?

什么？一看就知道楼主对APPLE根本就不了解，APPLE是计算机界的FASHION，看看iMac，miniMac，noteBook，他的产品简直就是艺术品。
