[问题]关于去美国签证的填表问题，急，BOW!!!

最近要去美国面试，看了DS-156表，发现有个问题问的很tricky.不知道怎么回答，哪位有经验的朋友帮一下忙。先谢谢！
我的情况是：申请B1/B2签证，对方已经发了邀请信了，去美国面试，DS-156表上面有一栏问：
do to intend to work in the U.S?
我这种情况怎么填？去面试肯定是Intend to work in the U.S，不然还去米国干什么呢。但是现在的情况又是没有拿到offer,到底是填Yes or NO?
再问一下，我这种情况到底是申请B1 还是申请B1/B2呢？interview算是for business吗？本人没有打算要在米国玩。
已经预约了，选的是B1/B2,如果签证官认为我应该申请B1而不是B1/B2,这对申请结果有没有什么影响吗？

You intention is to interview, not to work. In other words, you are not going to stay there work, but rather interview and come back waiting for result, right? Only afer you get offer and you decide to go, then your intention becomes working.

So if you have friend there, then just say you plan to visit friend and prepare to show your friend's address (I guess).

But the invitation is from the company and saying in the letter that the purpose for my visit is for interview. By the way, I do not have a letter from the friend in US and my appointment is in the next week. Any suggestion?

他们怎么知道你是去面试啊? 难道你把信贴在头顶上进去嘛?

你可以去玩, 就算没有朋友也可以去啊!

就说你去玩, 找个旅游公司, 打印一份详细的旅游计划. 不用填写具体的美国地址.

我是准备说实话了，因为现在已经预约了，下个星期就签了，原来没有想到DS-156会问这种问题，想打电话去使馆问，结果这个鸟使馆设一个收费电话，2.5刀一分钟，比中国国内还黑。这么多朋友帮忙，我现在还是不怎么明白怎么回答这个问题。鬼知道他这个intend to work指的是对这一次trip还是包括以后，还包不包括动机呢？美国鬼子真是狡猾，一个问题让我推敲了半天。

A classmate of mine once also applied visa for interview. He told the visa officer that he will have a meeting with that company.

H1b visa for year 2006 start from Oct.2005.
Why they interview people so early? Can't understand.

The question is about this particular trip. And in this particular trip, you are going there for interview only. So answer NO, and when asked tell them that you will fly back to Canada to wait for the result, and if you got a satisfactory offer, you will apply for a H or J visa again.

BTW, are you interviewing at an instition which are H1B cap-exempt or can issue J visa ? THe non-exempt H1B can only start working this October, so it is quite early for that.

Did you fill in DS-156 form online? I followed the instructions to fill in this form and then press "Continue" button, but PDF file didn't return. As the letter they sent to me, I must print out this form and bring it to interview. How did you get the PDF back?

Is there anyone know what the problem is ?

Please read the confirmatin letter carefully, I generate the DS-156 from the another site. You can find it from your confirmation letter.
