问了CONSTRUCTION MANGER，他也承认我的楼梯是不对的了，让在一个月的REPORT里写上。可是问了售后服务的人却说这个不应该等一个月。结果是两边踢皮球。没办法，只好给他们的GENERAL MANGER发了个传真，不过大家都说，还的等一个星期才会有反映。

我想这个楼梯一定得有个说法了，我也坚持要个结果。但就怕他们不管别的，单纯把墙拆了，会不会有安全隐患？

It is better to check with builder first to see any stuff inside it. For example, they may put some wires inside?

Just keep calling them. If you don't hear anything from them or they play hard ball with you, go file a complaint with ONHWP, and they will HAVE TO deal with you.

They probably just don't want to pay for the mistake they made. Don't worry they are not going to do anything dangerous to put them into more liability.

this is a simple mistake, 也不知这builder是怎么验收房子的。。。就是两块drywall..渐渐说的是。。不会对你的房子产生什么问题， 你可以再打电话时， 给他们点压力， 这不是你要得房子。。和当初你定的有差异。。他们必需要给你改过来。。

渐渐 is right. Just keep calling them. Keep track of the number of calls you have made, and who you have spoken to.

If they are still unwilling to response. I would suggest to write a letter to the sale person, and the manager. Tell them you are very unsatisfied with the course of actions they are taking to response to a problem despite the efforts you have tried to make to resolve this matter. (Give them the list of calls you have made to support your claim) Tell them if they don't do anything by certain day (put a reasonable set date), you would have left no choice but to escalate the matter to ONHWP along with a copy of this letter.

That's exactly what I did: I filed a formal complaint against Minto to the ONHWP folks, and cced Minto with the same letter. I had also attached letters and "hate mails" that I've written to Minto over the course of the dispute. Within a week, Minto sent 2 inspectors to my home, this was after 8 months of ignoring and playing balls with me.

The reason being: for every complaint the participant of the ONHWP must give a response back, in most cases a resolution would be expected and they must also indicate whether or not this resolution is satisfactory to the homeowner.

新房子，刚搬进去住了一个多星期，老觉得别扭，今天终于发现问题所在了。就是我的楼梯，原本是开放式的，它现在给我立了一堵墙。咋办？

我主要的顾虑，是怕动了这楼梯，有没有安全隐患。请大伙给参合参合。

请问greensnake,你房子的问题如何解决的?
我们看了一个Claridge 的 for sale townhouse,似乎有同样的问题.

builder 今天终于来人来修我的楼梯了。据说要经过几道工序呢。今天是第一道---木工，用了电锯，手锯，钉子，锤子等，放倒了多余的墙，并清理了所有垃圾。一个人从早上8点干到了下午3点。明天是做DRYWALL的人来干活。各位行家给看看，有啥问题没有？
