请教境内团聚移民申请!

最近收到CIC第一封确认信,只是告诉了client#,没有让我去做fingerprint也没让我做interview,我不是很了解境内团聚申请的步骤,不知道还要过多久才能收到他们的下一封信,他们的决定一般还要多久才能出来?(我已经递交了体检报告跟国内做的无刑事记录)还请有相关经验的朋友能进来说说,我好做到心里有数.谢谢了!

是夫妻团聚吧，应该比较快。如果你在这里的时间超过半年就需要做指纹检查的无犯罪记录公证。现在没有提交，以后也会让你补交的。

是不是说按照惯例,CIC的第2封信就是让申请人去做security check?这个是跟RCMP做还是找local police做呢?为什么要检查指纹,是不是说没有指纹记录的就算是clearance了?

They will send you intructions regarding where to get the finger print, security check, and body check. CIC wants the police record from RCMP not from Ottawa local police. One of the requirements to get RCMP criminal check is your finger prints. I don't know how they exactly conduct the criminal search. But if there are no records indicate any type of police charges against you, there should not be a problem . CIC is looking for criminal charges records. Any traffic speeding tickets, parking violation tickets, or bad credit reports should not be worried in this case.

不过我不是很清楚这里的charge改怎么理解,是说被指控告上了法庭,还是被逮捕?惭愧地说我以前因为跟LP吵架被逮捕进去地,我之前也发帖子问过这个问题,虽然警察后来没起诉我,也没有取我地指纹,但是心里总是忐忑地很,最近在网上搜索了相关信息,发现很多地方都提到charge这个词,还有说即便是discharge absolutely也会有记录,我真不知道改怎么理解这些规定了,唉!

Charge = 起诉

Based on your description, I don't think they had laid charge against you, otherwise you would have been informed and gone to court already. If you are still unsure, why not go to Ottawa local police office ask for criminal record check. I think their database is also linked to the RCMP's. Whatever shows up in the local police record should also be in RCMP's record.

In Canada, even if you have committed criminal offense; you could apply for pardon after certain years, and the Pardon office will remove your criminal record. (http://www.nationalpardon.org/)

听说境内申请是没有file number的，就有client#。你有没有在网上查状态？

听说fingerprint在rcmp那里要拖很久，建议现在就先做(如果你住够了半年)，要了就寄过去。20块钱而已。

这位朋友，我是去年9月中旬交的材料，这个礼拜才收到第一封信等了半年了。。境内申请当然也有file#啦，呵呵，不然大家都没法查自己的状态了。。
对了，你说的这个fingerprint跟security check我可以现在就寄过去？不是一般都由CIC那边要求么？会不会有特殊的表格什么的，我不敢擅自寄过去，怕他们不承认啊。

通过这几天信息查找，我发现似乎RCMP有一个CPIS系统里面是被charge过的记录，每个local police也有自己的database，记录的是一些比较琐碎但是全面的信息，但是这些琐碎的信息好像不会传送到CPIS里，所以如果CIC只跟RCMP做security check，应该就不用担心了，但是如果RCMP做完national方面的check还要再转到local police去的话，那么就很讨厌了，即便没有上过法庭，也许都会被写进criminal record里面。。

Have you been finger printed when you are arrested ? The RCMP database CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre) is indexed using finger print.

I think you should be honest with CIC, you haven't been convicted, so there is no impact on your applications.

Let me try to understand your situation:

*You were not charged or convicted, but you were arrested before.

*In your immigration application, you answered 'NO' to the question "have you ever been arrested".

*Now you are worrying CIC may find this out. so you ask questions here.

If the above is not correct, then you don't need to read the following:

I would say CIC will only check RCMP's CPIC database. All inadmissible records are there and CIC is short of hand. Why would they bother with local police ? Also, when did the arrest happen ? Local police only keep incident report for 5 years.

It is too late to change anything, worry won't help. So relax.
