It usually takes how long to get these 2 documents ?
And how much they charge for ?

And is it recommended to have your photo ready when you go to the passport office the first time, so you may save a trip.

申请加拿大护照有一大堆手续呢。光是照片一项就有好多说法：需要十几种职业里面的一个人签字，这人还必须认识你至少两年等等。以前的老帖子里详细讲过。
中国签证倒不麻烦，加急的当天就能拿到。普通的旅游签证50加元，一般有效期一个月。需要一张照片。这里是申请表。
