Thank 渐渐 for your reply. your explain reduce some of my scruple. I know there are cookroach or flee something in 170 Lees Ave. I was told that cause there are lots of dogs, cats etc. there. Hope not because of them.

BTW,the webside is a good place to get some information, but it couldn't tell me which is right which is wrong. So, if somebody say down words to you, take it easy. Don't let it bother you.

Fleas/Ticks are usually not a problem in this part of the world. Just one more tip, I regularly inspect my puppy: hand check all his bones, eyes, ears, nose, paws, anus, tail, etc. to make sure he's not injured. During an inspection, I also put a piece of white paper under him and scratch like crazy all over his body 40 times, some dead skin would fall on the white paper. If there are fleas/ticks, chances are that these vile creatures would also fall on the piece of paper. It's just easier for the eyes to see. Of course if your pet starts scratching all the time, take him to the vet for a more thorough inspection.

Thanks wangchun! Oh I don't take it personally, I know better. Yes the Internet is a vast repository of information, but it's really up to each person to research, digest and filter that information.
