合伙租房

I am a new immigration and plan to land ottawa in 9th,Jan.
And I find it's difficult to find a single room available from Jan,2001 at this time.
Is there anyone who face the same barrier and we might be able to rent a big room with/withour several bedroom together .
I think that will be easier to find/share a single room along.
