请问第一次够条件拿EI是必须在一年内工作满900还是920小时??????
另问搬家可以成为让单位lay off的理由吗????比如配偶在另一城市工作或上学.

The pilot project to reduce to 840 only applies to regions with unemployment rate higher than 10% and has not yet implemented. In Ottawa, the unemployment rate is not that high.
If your spouse moved to other city and I think you are entitled to benefits. Just get a recod of employment before you go and then go to the HRSDC office (or apply online). In this case, you may need to visit the office. apply online first.
