This is the last email sent to you to summarize the tournament. As some of you may already know, the following you can find the results of the tournament.
For Junior Group, Champion: 36D, Second place: Carleton Univ.(C.U.), Third place: Ottawa Chinese Community(C.C.) , Fourth place: Hoop Chi Minh(H.C.M), Fifth place: M-Force(M.F), Sixth place: Ed Cheung Legal Service(E.C.L), Seventh place: Algonquin College(A.C.).
For Senior Group, Champion: Keji Association(K.J.), Second place: the Association of Northeast China(N.E.), Third place: Xinhua Chinese School(X.H.), Fourth place: OACCUA, Fifth place: University Quebec at Hull(U.Q.), Sixth place: Friendship Basketball Club(F.B.C), Seventh place: The United.
This tournament, we have three young organizers, Xiaochuan Liu, Hang Yin and Shiran Qiu, who are responsible for recording and appraising. They did excellent jobs, in which each player's assistance(ASST), offence rebound(ORB) defence rebound(DRB), block(BLK), turnover(TNR), steal, point and foul are recorded; and MVP, Most Point, Most Rebound, Most Block, Most Steal and Most Asst are appraised. The method of selecting MVP is (Asst + ORB + DRB + BLK + point + steal - TNR - foul)/total games. MVP should be the player of the two teams playing for champion, who has the highest value calculated by above formula. In order to be appraised any one of six awards, the palyer should play most the games (at least three games). There is another rule that one player can not win MVP and Most Score sametime.
