I waited for more than a year. It really depends.

You must have something horribly wrong.

Anyway, it's very annonying that CIC gives hardly any info for the exact timeline for a specific case. Being fast or slow,it's always coming at your most inconvient time.

你可以在考试前，在ＯＦＦＩＣＥＲ核对你文件和身份的时候，告诉他你什么时间不在加拿大。这样，他们可以在安排时间的时候，考虑到。

Just want to keep chinese citizenship for few month longer, can I ask CIC to defer the time for citizenship ceremony?

A few more months would be that important? Why did you apply for it that early in the first place?

agree. Yes, I was in bad luck since the CIC staff was on strike, and they cancelled all the ceremonies. And of course I was back in China waiting and then 9.11 and could not get on a flight to North America and all that... you know

A few more months would be that important? Why did you apply for it that early in the first place?

Simply don't get it.

It feels a little bit better that at least I am not going to take it as soon as I'm passed.

I just took the test today. The officer told use that you will be waiting for 1 to 3 months and please be patient. Really a shit!

Same here, I took the exam yesterday though...
