Actuallly, I got Nortel Offer before I landed in and then they relocate me from BJ to here, but I am not so lucky as you to get the offer over 100k. They told me that over 80K is the start level salary for a senior designer. I am so confident when we talked about salary, so they gave me a satisified offer. But to Ur over 100K, I am so surprise on your background?

Could you please tell something about yourself.

BTW, are U worked in BLC in Beijing? If yes, we should be ex-colleague? ;-)

Before I left Beijing, I took Unix training in Bell-labs by Zhou Ming De, a very famours computer prof.
Have you took OOA/OOD training in Bell labs? There is one golden rule: one class just do one thing, and do it better. Do you still remember it?
if Nortel gave me offer, maybe $70,000 to $80,000. But it is not Nortel. It is another one bigger than Nortel.

<HTML>100K is indeed not a big deal. But from his words I donnot think he is an expert, maybe he uses fake resumes. BTW, the Zhou in Bell Labs is not as good as he thought. I never heard a chinese company provides Vxworks(I might be wrong). </HTML>

By the way, this is a contract offer but not a permenent one. So the income would be less than $90k after 4% vocation and 4% health insurance.

someone get up to $80 per hour...
you can sign a company first, so can pay less tax..
and you can also get 7% more as GST paid by that company, maybe
you should pay 4% more as tax to goverment.

I do not believe his words, based on my experience, in Motorola/lucent/Nokia in Beijing, Most of guys, they only have average
