关于租车的问题。。。

最近申请到了一张CIBC的空中里程的VISA金卡，听说用这个卡租车不用买保险。。。有这个说法吗？还是要到CIBC特定的租车公司租车才不用交保险？

Yes, you can decline the collision and damage waiver provided by the rental company when you rent the car using most gold credit cards. This applies to almost all rental companies. But you need to read the insurance agreement comes with your credit card line by line. Mostly they only cover cars with market value less than $60,000 and there are some requirements applied (e.g. if the car was stolen, the key must not be in the car; if you were involved in accident, your must be wearing seat belt etc).
