did not see your deal, but there is one in henry left, ask for $1799.00. good deal though, compared to a new one, which costs more than doubled. I actually saw a guy in the horse jump this weekend using this lens on his 1D MKII. it could be great walk around lens, only problem is...too bulky and heavy and expensive (well with this used one, this does not apply any more).

If you are about to buy a Canon DSLR, and really serious about your photo quality. also, you do not mind carrying this little beast around. go for it!
