Montmorency 瀑布 (QUEBEC CITY)

For today, I like #3 the best. I like the layout, the unique angle of view, the tight crop. the color contrast is good too. now, just a thought. what if you desat the green at the top left corner that made the photo imperfect. Just my two cents... #14 is cool to me. It seems broke many layout rules, somehow I still like it. hmmm, If I do it, I may use my 17-40 for this shot. but I may need a rain coat for my camera.

Thanks, Xterra. #3 is shot at the top of the fall with telephoto. I increase the saturation a bit through curves/saturation as I prefer the more saturated color.

To be honest, idea of #14 is borrowed from a photo I saw on a book about Quebec city. Use wide angle has the risk of camera/lens being washed

Thanks, Xterra. #3 is shot at the top of the fall with telephoto. I increase the saturation a bit through curves/saturation as I prefer the more saturated color.

To be honest, idea of #14 is borrowed from a photo I saw on a book about Quebec city. Use wide angle has the risk of camera/lens being washed

as for #3, I was refering to the little green area at top left corner, not all green areas.

For #14, my lens is weather sealed. ha ha ha~ but my camera is not... damn....

谈谈观后感

看好的照片绝不能一扫而过,要慢慢的品,既欣赏了美景,又领会了创作者的意图,才能提高自己的水平.有很多时候我都在想,同样的地点自己怎么就拍不出这么个效果来呢?这不单纯是设备的问题.这组照片拍的确实不错,看得出作者拍的很上心,肯定不是随手掂来的.比如14#如果没那两个人点缀,就显不出瀑布的气势,4,5,6里的"小"人也不可缺.7#的角度很刁,身在景点的时候常因为四面皆是景而不知道重点.很喜欢3#.最后一张感觉不理想,这一张是放在这一组里了,知道是个瀑布,单独看,根本感觉不出它是什么,如果右下角有个划船的小人物或者一个跟激流搏斗的小鸭子之类(当然不可能 ),就完美的多.
一管之见.鸡蛋里挑骨头,不好意思.

谢谢山东详细,认真的评论. #14那张是借用一本关于QUEBEC CITY的画册的构图. 有人做参照, 才显出瀑布的气势.

最后一张拍的时候是想表现一下水流落到底部的冲击力, 可惜没有把握好.

这一组拍的稍匆忙, 构图不尽满意.
