是这样的，我是去年圣诞节到的加拿大，在温哥华办手续时忘了把信交给海关拿study permit，结果进来后也没人阻拦，后来发现没有后就跑去移民局，去了4次，每次都和我说不同的方法，搞得我也不知道到底该怎么办，问学校，学校说去边境办……现在我的VISA已经过期，这事情还一直没有着落，请哪位有经验的好心人能给我说说我现在该怎么办？到底怎样我才可以在这里拿到study permit？

Hi there: I have heard about this type of incidents before. To get the student permit, you will have to get out of Canada and re-enter the country again -- you can only get the permit at the port of entry. When I was in Toronto, a lot of people went to Baffalo... Since your visa is expired, perhaps you will need to apply for a Canadian visa first...best of luck.
