Perth --- the Prettiest Town in Ontario

Yes, every picture I posted was postprocessed more or less baseed on what I wanted to express in the pictures.

I would like these pictures to show what Perth looks like in my mind, some of them are just cropped and resized.

"Your photos (at least this batch) seem straight out from your camera." ------ My PS skills are good.

Startrack said: "it is good that no one knows that you used the filters in your pictures but you did." The same thing as I use PS as a principle.

Ok then, if my comment was understood that way....

Give your an example.

For #7 what I did with PS CS:

RAW ---> Tiff
Clone Stamp
Rotation
Crop
Transform---perspective
Curve or Level
Shadow/Hightlight
Gradual
.
.
.


Mode --- 8 bit
resize
brush my name
save as

Some of my pictures might do more, but the most less.

Have funs with PS.

这是PS运用的一个境界！

反观这里不少人PS用的有些过，比如花哨的frame,过度锐化，过多过大的喧宾夺主的前景等。

还有就是过度依赖高价镜头的背景虚化，而忽略在突出主体方面其它技巧的运用（比如构图比例，透视变化，线条，颜色，形状等）。

呵呵，偶砖砸多了，可能会伤及无辜，这里先行道歉了！

How about a comparison?

They followings are my photos of our own town - ottawa.

Parliment Building.

I know it has been photographed a million times, but my angle is not common.

Did I PS? I certainly did!

If you have to use distortion of ultra wide angle, it should be used this way.

All I was trying to say is Ottawa, our own little town is not less than than any other towns, no matter how you measure it. I have travelled more places in Canada than any Canadians I have ever met did. I still value our little Ottawa, a lot. I just don't believe perth is the most beautiful town in Onatrio. It is definitely an over-statement!

Ottawa is at least as beautiful!

halfyoyo: that's a good suggestion, I will take it. Thanks. and keep it up, because we need it here in this forum.

halfyoyo: no offense taken and I agree with star that we need more critiques in this forum. From my own perspective, I like over-saturated color more and I tend to do that in PS. Probably I need to reflect on that and try not to abuse it everywhere.

Xterra: like your #1/4. #2 would be much better if you don't over-PS it.

agree with fad on the one over-psed.
but the last one is quite nice, I love the sunset one as well.
