Any experience with Montessori school?

My daughter is in a daycare that is sponsored by my company and recommended by several of my colleagues. Montessori was our backup if we couldn’t get in any of the daycares that we are waiting for. So I didn't gather enough info to answer your question.

Is it the Kanata Research Park one she's in? Or else?

Any schools can call themselves montessori since it's not regulated, so you should do more research on whether they are accredited by recognized Montessori organizations. Also ask for their teachers' qualification and see if they have received AMI accreditation

Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators (CCMA)
only accredited 3 Montessori in Ottawa
- Kanata Montessori
- Bishop Hamilton School
- Ottawa Montessori School - Ecole Montessori d'Ottawa

North American Montessori Teachers' Association (NAMTA) only accredited the following Montessori in Ottawa
- Alexander Montessori School
- Bishop Hamilton Schools
- Canadian Montessori Academy
- Glebe Montessori School
- Ottawa Montessori School

No, it's Sunflower Co-operative Day Nursery. It's on Montreal road across Aviation road.
