Minto 和 Richcraft 比较

的确Minto的房子有minto的优点，Richcraft的房子有Richcraft的优点.
这里只想提请大家注意另一点：房与房之间的距离。
当然，最重要是自己喜欢第一，price 第二。

房与房之间的距离是LOT的尺寸决定的, 比如说35', 40', 50' 的LOT. 当然了, LOT的尺寸越大, 房与房的间距就越大, 房价就越高.

These are houses from Minto in Chapman mills. Does anyone tell me the lot size of these houses ? ( 41'-43' lot)

Then check the same size of house from Richcraft to see the lot size. You will know what I am talking about.

Ridgeway 50' lot, 2550sq.ft.
Robson 50' lot, 2615sq.ft.

我到是比较欣赏minto 2500sqft 以下的房子. 设计良好,感觉比其他公司同面积的房子大.3000sqft以上的房子豪华一些,但实用面积并没有增加太多.

我个人的感觉是

Minto除房子之外, 比较主意社区设计, 其他的builder都是看Minto在那里买地,然后挨着买

就好象你做生意, 跟着别人后面, 一是没有风险, 二是省了市场调研和投资, 但是你永远做不了leader

另外我个人的喜好是

特不喜欢车库突在前面的设计, 拐个弯小路去正门的, 象撅个屁股一样(有点难听, 但就是大实话), 你说我国那个房子是前面这么不工整的

关于lots, 现在房子间剧都太小, Minto 是宽, Richardcraft是长; 宽的面子好看点

Same size house, Minto is cheap than Richcraft. Richcarft has more updates.
Same money you can buy a bigger Minto without upgrades.
Minto home usually has very good design.
Perhaps the best way is buy a bigger good design Minto home with little upgrades, only take the structure upgrades. After you move in, upgrades it over the time. When you need to replace carpet, change it to hardwood floor. When you need to change the vinyl change it to tile..... You will have better, bigger house in the end.

For those who don't know a lot about house renovation and construction, perhaps it's easier to get a Richcraft house. Their standard is high and saves a lot of headache on choosing upgrade options.

However, for those who know exactly what they want, it's good to get Minto and do upgrades by themselves.

I've compared Richcrft's garage door with Minto's garage door. Richcraft's is a lot thicker and has more insulation than Minto. But there is also upgrade option at Minto.

I guess the most important thing is to choose the house you like, and choose the location you like.
