Looking for a dance partner

I am a male who is 185 cm tall. In the last few years, I found myself being left out at social events because I do not know how to dance. I had to reject invitations from ladies, even though I was 110% reluctant to do so, or otherwise I would have embarrassed them by stepping on their toes. And the bad thing is, since social dancing is so popular that they did not believe that I do not know how to dance, but thought that I was just arrogant or more likely, stupid. I do not know if that is the major reason why I am not getting promoted. Since I am not a social animal but trying to be one, I have finally made up my mind to learn ballroom dancing. But even worse is that almost all dancing classes will only take couples. May I herein plea for a lady (not guy), who has never learned dancing before (as I never did), patient (as I am a slow learner) and is interested in learning it, for the sole purpose of being my multi-level, but starting from the beginner's class, ballroom dancing partner. My only requirement is that she must be tall enough (even on high heels) to not make us look funny. If you want to help, please email me. Thanks in advance.
