There is a major development in the Ardeth Wood murder investigation.
Law enforcement sources tell CFRA news that police have a suspect. That suspect is to be arrested shortly, or may already be in jail.
Police have checked through more than 1,700 persons of interest since Wood's body was found along Green's Creek in August of 2003. But officers admit they were concentrating on a small handful of people.
Ten full-time investigators have remained on the case, and the cost has topped $750,000.
