求救~~退税问题

前几天Revenue Agency寄来信说他们查我的退税申请时,我2003年的房租退税
的资料不能证明"payment of rent", 然后要我还给他们$300多
他查我申请时,我是把2003年我租房的lease copy寄过去的
现在可以怎么办?

you need the receipt of payment of rent, lease copy doesnt help.

ask your landlord to give you a receipt and send it out

1) landlord's receipt or lease
2) images of withdrawn checks from your monthly statement

if you paid cash to landlord, the only way to proof is the receipt from landlord.
