babysitter question

I am going to find a babysitter to look after my 9 month old baby in afternoon. My baby doesn't have a fixed routine, but she can sleep for about 1.5 hours anytime in the afternoon. Shall I arrange some other housework such as wash bottle, do cleaning for the babysitter while the baby is sleeping or I should let the babysitter do whatever she likes during this peroid. What is the common rule to make both sides happy? Thanks for any tips.

I don't think there's "common rule" in these cases. It depends on how much you pay the sitter and how long she's suppose to work. If your rate is good, you can ask her to do a bit more. Generally speaking, part-time employee who works outside gets a 15 minutes break after 4 hours. Hope this helps! :blowzy:

真 是 惭 愧 ， 我 对 现 在 market 的 babysitter rate 也 不 是 很 清 楚 。 现 在 的 minimum wage 好 像 是 $6。 85 - $7。 25 一 小 时 ？(taxable income) (correct me if I'm wrong)， babysitter 好 像 稍 微 少 一 点 点， 因 为 私 人 都 是 给 现 金 ， 不 交 税 的 。 。 。 。 :blowzy: :blowzy:
