if the baby is born in China, she is still a Canadian. You will need to apply for her, through the Canadian embassy in Beijing, a Canadian citizenship ceryificate. For this piece of document, you need to show the baby's birth certificate and your Canadian passport (your citizenship certificate is not accepted as a proof of Canadian citizenship in this case). This application will take at least 6-8 months; once you have the citizenship certificate for the baby, you can apply for her the Canadian passport although in theory your baby would not need the passport to travel to Canada already.
