try Chevrolet's Aveo or Aveo5, hatch back same as Wave, but cheaper, and got 5 stars for the crush rating, SMart is good, but most of them is 5 speed, if you want the Auto, you have to wait for 2 months, but ifeel the wheels too small only 13 inch, no good in winter, that summer fun car, personal oponion, for your reference.Echo is not bad, but it is Japanese car, i don't like it and whole weight is too light
