As police tried to string motive, to suspects, to weapons yesterday, members of Ottawa's Chinese community weren't short of their own theories about why two young men were shot to death at a Chinatown karaoke tea cafe.
At www.comefromchina.com -- which provides information for the city's Chinese community -- a forum called Smiling in Canada had about a dozen people posting questions about the crime.
Fullhouse Karaoke Tea Cafe has been rumoured to have opened under new management in recent months and a post by "Bear" speculated the owners owed money to a Vietnamese organization in the Chinatown area.
According to a posting by "Smartman," the two students were shot protecting a woman believed to be a waitress at the cafe.
"There is a lot of rumours here and a lot of talking on the Internet," said Rudy Gao, owner of the Ha Ha Karaoke Bar in Gloucester. Gao said that he heard the Somerset St. W. lounge where the shooting took place was operated by several students.

作为留学生, 也作为学生.....我觉得这俩哥们儿不该那么晚去那么混的地方混吧......PS~ 那不如看看国内通宵嫖妓的是好学生还是坏学生呢??
好学生跟坏学生不代表好人跟坏人...但是学生的角度来讲应当以学业为重, 以学术为主..."偶尔放松" 哦~~~ 偶尔放松能"放"出一大堆仇家埋伏好了来跟你干?? 还要在这个国家的政治中心, 号称保安最好的城市~?!
大家都光说中国人被杀就怎么怎么样....怎么不想想为什么呢? 好, 那既然不知道为什么...又为什么要妄自评论? 乃至煽动民族纠纷呢???
