it is not bad.
I know an Indian girl she graduated from Algonquine college as an international studdent. She got a job in a long term care facility starting as a part time RPN after graduation. She got full time hours. She is an indian speaking very fluent english.
I just wonder if your friend is strong in English and nursing skills, if yes, she will find a job for sure. Inadditionlly, if she is able to work indenpently in a quick pace enviroment, and has strong communication skill, time manegement skill, interpersonal skills, judgement, etc, she has no worry to have a decent job in canada.

Once international student have a job offer, after one-year work, he/she can submit an immigraton application.

I know a chinese lady who is a RPN in a hospital. She graduated from a 2 year RPN program in a local college, and then was hired with a casual position right after the graduation. Four months later, she was offered a part time position in the same department. According to her, it would take a while before she could get a full time position in the same hospital, since normally you need to wait till the position is available(some full time people retire, leave or new positions are created). But no matter what position she has been in (casual or part time), she has got full time hours for the most of the time. Sometime she was asked to do overtime.
The salary for a RPN is higher in hospital compared to a retirement home. And hopital gives better benefit.
The job in hospital is more chanllenging and interesting. You need to have good communication skills to work there.

She is already a citizen, so do not know if the kind of job is good enough for an immigration application.
