Here is an Ottawa Chinese lady, severely injuried(seems to be corroborated information), with her teenage daughter and old mom suffering along with her, why no one in our Chinese community seems to care? Can we offer some help, even a tiny bit, to her and her family?
It's not a huge population in Ottawa. Who knows this family? They might need some emotional or financial support to help them overcome the horrible hardtime. From the paper, seems all her family members in Ottawa are female (no discriminatory implication) and it must be very hard for them. I prefer somebody(friend of this family or some social worker) set up an account in case her family needed some financial assistance, so people do not have to stop by the hospital
and hand the check to her family, which might be awkward.
