Maybe I got the Chinese translation wrong, but I meant to say AO is one of the four Grand slams, and this is the first Grand slam won by any Chinese. Unless you want me to call it a 满贯...which sounds weird.

* 澳大利亚公开赛
* 法国公开赛
* 温布尔登锦标赛
* 美国公开赛"

"In tennis, a singles player or doubles team is said to have achieved the Grand Slam if they succeed in winning all four of the following championship titles in the same year:

I can't stand people who are nitpicking over the obvious.

In English, we know the difference by calling it "a Grand slam" or "the Grand slam". But we can't do that in Chinese. However for anyone following tennis at all, it's obvious that this particular 大满贯 is referring to "a Grand slam" seen as how we are only at the first Grand slam of 2006, therefore it is impossible to achieve "the Grand slam".
