It depends how serious the reaction is.
Usually, if you had BCG before, it of course will show up in test, but usually small area too. In my case, because the area is too big, doctor says it is not the result of BCG, it is really something else (i.e,I had contact with TB even my chest X-ray is OK).
I took his advice and took 9 month pill. During the 9 month, they monitor your live function. Some indexs of mine are high during the 9 month peroid, but they are back to normal afterward.
After 9 months, the doctor will give you a certificate indicating you have taken the treatment.
In your case, I think you should have no problem working since X-ray comes back ok, but I suggest taking the medicine too if the area is too big.
